Elena Ebert

I am a geographer with a special focus on social transformation processes, whether in climate and ocean protection, urban development, or issues of social justice. I am currently studying Geography for my Master's degree and have been working as a freelance copywriter since 2024.

My areas of expertise range from environmental and climate protection to feminist perspectives and topics of inclusion and diversity, as well as issues of social justice and sustainability. I apply my knowledge in a practical way to various media formats, providing well-founded, understandable, and always target-group-oriented content.

I have implemented a book project on ocean protection for teachers and students with the Heinrich Böll Foundation SH, conceptualizing the book, researching chapters, and preparing and writing the content didactically.

Before that, I worked in public relations for several months. Part of this role included social media management, writing blog articles, and creating guides and newsletters for a climate protection project as well as for an urban development project of the foundation. During my time at HafenCity Hamburg, I was part of the public relations team, responsible for organizing all tours and coordinating email correspondence with educational and specialist groups and speakers at HafenCity.

I combine in-depth knowledge with a keen sense for language and design. I work in a structured, creative, and reliable manner and can distill complex content to its essence. Words with impact and content with conviction!
