Elena Closset

As a trainee lawyer in my final internship at Herald, I was an integral part of the CAICC Department - Competition, Insurance, Real Estate, Commercial Litigation. Thus, I was able to work with most of the firm's lawyers in various areas of business law. I conducted research and wrote legal documents in banking law, dealing with interest rate issues, in insurance law, with disputes between policyholders and insurers, in real estate, concerning commercial leases, in competition law, as well as in international arbitration on fee disputes and disputes between lawyers. I was tasked with drafting pleadings, both at the first instance and on appeal, settlement agreements, as well as memoranda and awards in domestic and international arbitration proceedings.
