About Eficae Iotech

We are a multidisciplinary team of custom technological development, specializing in the integral development of IoT monitoring web platforms. We focus on user interface (UI) design, frontend, and backend, using the latest development technologies, such as Figma, Angular, or MVC (.NET Core). Additionally, we implement continuous integration and development tools, like Jenkins or Git, and carry out implementation on virtual stacking servers.

Our backend developments are carried out in the .NET Core (C#) environment, either through APIs or with a web interface. We have extensive experience in managing complex relational databases and optimizing SQL indexes to handle large amounts of data.

We are also experts in integrating APIs and IoT devices for data ingestion. We design attractive and modern web and user interfaces (UI), following the latest web design trends.

All our projects are managed professionally and organized, and we use tools like Microsoft Project to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met. We work remotely on most of our projects.

    Research, design, and development of custom technological solutions in the field of energy monitoring for controlling electricity consumption, generation, and storage in domestic and industrial facilities.

    During this activity, several research projects have been integrated, such as:

    𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗨𝗭 (𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟵 – 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁)

    Miluz is an energy monitoring platform designed and developed to learn how to manage and control electricity consumption to identify savings opportunities. The Miluz tool offers real-time energy audit services, intelligent energy management, invoice analysis, supply optimization, and supply quality analysis.

    Within the project itself, the following tasks have been performed:

    - SaaS Development:

    𝗛𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗡 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 – 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁)

    This is a third-party SaaS development of a tool that combats energy waste in homes, providing companies with an energy efficiency and sustainability tool for their clients. Its objective is to encourage households to reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprint by equipping them with eco-education and technology.

    Within the project itself, the following tasks have been performed:

    𝗗𝟭𝟭𝟯 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 – 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮)

    Active energy management system for the flexible integration of renewable energy in industry, seeking to analyze and research new lines of work in the energy monitoring sector that allow for significant evolution for the development of future systems that adhere to current trends of precise, low-cost digitalization for the industrial environment, where information is truly power and becomes, if it wasn't already, essential to face the paradigm shift motivated by the current global situation.

    Within the project itself, the following tasks have been performed:

    - Centralized control and monitoring systems:
    Research and design of the embedded system.
    Resilience and cybersecurity analysis.
    Research of precise synchronization techniques.
    Design of fast event detection algorithms.
    Machine Learning systems for predictive maintenance.
    - Flexible Active Energy Management Systems:
    Analysis of monitoring data and prediction algorithms.
    Design and simulation of flexible energy management strategies.
    Design and implementation of energy coordination algorithms.
    - Field tests and integration:
    Monitoring.

    𝗜𝗢𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗢 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮)

    The IoT Challenge is a competition promoted by the Diputación de Badajoz and Fiware Space that seeks technological solutions to solve a posed problem.

    In the 2022 edition, the main objective was to use Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques to predict the energy consumption of public buildings based on actual consumption data, as well as to model each building according to that consumption and also to determine its environmental quality level by relying on data obtained from various sensor sets already installed in them.

    Among several proposals, the one presented by Eficae Iotech was selected as the winner, meaning we were chosen to carry out the project.

    Within the project itself, the following tasks have been performed:

    - Data extraction from the FIWARE platform.
    - Data extraction from open sources (API). Esios, OpenWeather, Pvgis, etc.
    - Processing of large amounts of data from energy and environmental sensors located in multiple public buildings in the province of Badajoz.
    - Database management.
    - KPI calculation.
    - Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
    - Data cleaning.
    - Model creation and validation.

    𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗜𝗣𝗨𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗢́𝗡 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 – 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮)

    This project is a custom solution developed for the Diputación de Badajoz to monitor the main energy parameters of buildings.
    To achieve this, several components were implemented, including a universal monitoring unit connected to the main panel, a network analyzer installed in the same panel, a Zigbee sensor hub, temperature, humidity, and air quality (CO2) sensors, a 24-inch screen, and lighting and presence sensors. Additionally, the system configuration and deployment were carried out, and the data generated by it were to be sent to the Fiware platform.

    This solution is currently being replicated in multiple buildings.

    Within the project itself, the following tasks have been performed:

    - Integral development, both hardware and software, of a datalogger capable of communicating with multiple network analyzers and sending data to the Fiware platform.
    - Integral development, both hardware and software, of a Zigbee hub capable of integrating with any Zigbee sensor. This hub allowed for the collection of information from sensors installed in the buildings and sending the data to the Fiware platform.
    - Deployment of the solution in multiple buildings, with the aim of monitoring and optimizing the energy parameters of these facilities.

    𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗣 (𝗗𝗘𝗛𝗘𝗦𝗔 𝗗𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗔) (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 – 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁)

    Within the project itself, the following tasks have been performed:

    - Field tests and integration:
