About Edward
Edward Salmon is the Founder and Creative Director of PINKFISH™ — one of the few people operating at the genuine intersection of AI and music: a Top 1% global artist and producer, and a recognised authority on artificial intelligence.
As an artist, he has surpassed 10M+ streams and performed mainstage at Untold, Formula 1 and Expo 2020. Through PINKFISH™, he now delivers keynotes, live AI-music experiences and sonic branding for global brands, governments and major events.
In 2021, Edward became one of the first recipients of the UAE Executive Director Golden Visa, awarded by H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for AI, in recognition of his contributions to AI and innovation. In 2024, he was selected as one of 40 participants from 1,500+ global applicants for the Dubai Future Foundation Future Leaders Programme — sponsored by HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum — specialising in AI policy and ethical AI governance.
Before PINKFISH™, Edward spent 13 years in technology, leading global expansion across the UK, US, Middle East and Asia Pacific. He scaled AI- and robotics-powered platforms to hundreds of millions in annual GMV, launched a category-defining AI-powered delivery service, and was part of the leadership team behind a successful $50M acquisition.
He advises Fortune 500 companies and investment firms on AI strategy and generative AI, music technology and the creator economy, and AI-powered commerce, automation and robotics.
