My coaching and mediations don't just take place sitting down, but consciously in motion – often while walking and preferably outdoors in nature. Movement takes pressure and speed out, creates distance from the problem, and brings body and mind back into a workable mode. This creates clarity, new perspectives, and often more accessible conversations – especially on sensitive topics.
This is how I work – in coaching as well as in mediation:

- University Course Mediation and Conflict ManagementCarinthia University of Applied Sciences / Fachhochschule Kärnten2026Meine Ausbildung habe ich an der Fachhochschule Kärnten absolviert und mit dem Abschluss als akademischer Mediator und Konfliktmanager beendet. Die Ausbildung verband theoretische und praxisorientierte Anteile und vermittelte die Grundlagen, Phasen und Haltung der Mediation, fundierte Konflikttheorie (u. a. das Eskalationsmodell nach Glasl), professionelle Kommunikations- und Fragetechniken, die Gewaltfreie Kommunikation nach Rosenberg, das Harvard-Verhandlungskonzept sowie die rechtlichen Grundlagen nach dem Zivilrechts-Mediations-Gesetz (ZivMediatG). Die Praxisanteile umfassten Rollenarbeit, Co-Mediation, Intervision und Supervision unter Anleitung erfahrener Lehrmediator:innen sowie die Bearbeitung realer Fallkonstellationen. Besondere Schwerpunkte setzte ich auf Wirtschafts- und Organisationsmediation sowie auf Team- und Arbeitsplatzkonflikte. Aus dieser Ausbildung resultiert die Kompetenz, festgefahrene Konflikte zwischen Einzelpersonen, in Teams und zwischen Organisationseinheiten allparteilich, strukturiert und ergebnisorientiert zu klären – mit dem Ziel, tragfähige, von allen Beteiligten getragene Lösungen herbeizuführen.

Egon Darnhofer-Demar absolviert und mit der Personenzertifizierung als „Certified Coach" nach ÖNORM EN ISO/IEC 17024 abgeschlossen. Der Lehrgang verband systemisches Denken, lösungsorientierte Beratung und Elemente des NLP mit einem hohen Praxisanteil – einschließlich Diplomarbeit und eines durch Supervision begleiteten realen Klientencoachings (SRCC®). Schwerpunkte der Ausbildung waren professionelle Gesprächsführung und Auftragsklärung, ressourcen- und lösungsorientiertes Einzelcoaching, Konfliktmanagement und Verhandlungscoaching, Gruppen- und Teamcoaching sowie die Verbindung von Coachingmethoden mit klassischem und agilem Projektmanagement. In der Praxis bedeutet das heute: tragfähige Klärung von Konflikten und Spannungen in Teams, strukturierte Begleitung von Veränderungs- und Führungsprozessen sowie eine sach- und ergebnisorientierte Vorgehensweise, die Teams rasch wieder arbeitsfähig macht.
