What does an accountant who stays with the same company for 21 years do – and yet never stands still? He becomes a Prokurist (authorized signatory). Then Head of Accounting. Then Managing Director.

My career began at Rölfs Partner AG in Düsseldorf, classically as a tax assistant. What followed was not a linear CV, but a chain of conscious decisions: as the sole accountant at Capelli Europe GmbH, as Head of Finance at PPMG AG across three locations – Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Berlin.

The real proof came at MAVEG Industrieausrüstungen GmbH, with locations in Ratingen and Moscow. I joined in 2002 as the sole accountant. 21 years later, I had helped shape the company as Commercial Managing Director – through authorized signatory status, leadership changes, growth, and international locations.

Since 2023, I have been Managing Director of PTS HITEC GmbH – even though "Managing Director" is on my business card, my daily work looks different: I advise clients on finance and management issues, much like an interim CFO does. Only as a permanent employee.
