Dominique Bendif

After several years with the Castorama General Management, where I held various positions, I wanted to broaden my skills by leveraging my entire career, both personal and professional. I therefore chose to become self-employed.

In parallel, I developed two complementary activities: a concierge service in Corsica - directly stemming from my personal experience managing rental properties remotely - as well as freelance merchandising work, continuing my experience at Castorama headquarters, allowing me to fully leverage these two areas of expertise.

Remotely, I am involved in updating planograms (replacing products, deleting references, integrating new items). While essential, this activity is particularly time-consuming and often takes time away from higher value-added tasks, such as creating spaces, analyzing performance, optimizing shelving, or strategic thinking around revitalization plans.

Remote work also includes designing new concepts (using SketchUp or space planning), analyzing the market and competition, and developing relevant recommendations based on figures and sales forecasts.

On-site, the goal is to bring these ideas to life: assembling concepts in workshops, testing store layouts, making adjustments, liaising with teams, and validating the most effective solutions, in terms of both sales and customer satisfaction. This also allows for anticipating on-site constraints and providing pragmatic and efficient solutions.

In this context, I am convinced that a collaboration could represent a real opportunity in a win-win partnership.
