Responsible for security, compliance, and data protection at the group level across 24 countries. Direct reporting to the CEO with regular reports to the Board of Directors. Responsibilities include:

• Support for the CEO and European sales teams on contractual, security, and compliance aspects

• Implementation of TISAX certification (aligned with ISO/IEC 27001) in collaboration with renowned consulting firms

• Leadership in defining and implementing a global cybersecurity strategy, with significant improvement in security and compliance levels within several international subsidiaries

• Conducting enterprise-wide risk assessments, implementing policy frameworks, and operational security initiatives

• Launching Europe-wide awareness programs on security, compliance, and data protection

Responsible for aligning GDPR, Information Protection, and compliance programs with headquarters initiatives in Germany. Close collaboration with sales, marketing, and dealer network management teams. Interface between local teams and BMW global functions. Governance of data protection processes (RoPA, DPIA, third parties) via Archer eGRC.

Design and management of a global GRC and data quality program covering 38 countries. Dual reporting to the Global DPO and the Director of Risk & Audit. Coordination of multicultural teams. Implementation of standardized workflows and reporting worldwide.
