Adevinta is a listed European online classifieds leader with over EUR 1.6bnrevenue per year and over 5’000 employees. In November 2023 a privateequity consortium (Permira and Blackstone Inc.) offered to buy Adevinta in a deal valuing the company at about EUR 14bn.

With my private equity andgroup accounting expertise I am currently supporting various departmentswithin Finance of Adevinta during this process, including the following tasks:

Consolidation with SAP 4/Hana and Onestreamo Support M&A Projects and work together with Valuations teamo Support Head of Group

Accounting and Reporting and IFRS team with the financial year end closing 2024 and publishing of annualreport as well as internal reporting to the Risk and Audit Committeeo

Write Memorandums about accounting treatment under IFRS Reviewing and improving Groups accounting manual (especially revenue recognition and impairment test of Goodwill) and Implementation of IFRS 18.

Consolidation of more than 80 group entities with SAP/4 Hana

Applying IFRS and preparing Year and Half year report

Internal reporting to the Risk and Audit Committee

Constantly reviewing and improving Groups accounting manualo Project: Transfer annual report (mainly financial statements) of Partners Group from vertical format to horizontal format

Advisory of local accountants in Singapore and Philippines mainly onIFRS 2 and IFRS 16 related topics as well as non-routine transactionso Participate on diverse discussions with Group CFO on Revenuerecognition accounting

Main contact person for collaboration with auditorson financial statements audit as well as acting as Finance SPOC

Implementation of ICS (including RCMs and flowcharts of variousprocesses e.g. P2P, Inventory, Group Finance, HR)

Various accounting projects (e.g. CAPEX, Accounting for SaaS,Financial Risk Management IFRS 9, Implementation of IFRS 18)
