For 8 years, I have been supporting SMEs in their development and assisting managers in accounting, financial, and personnel management areas.

Supervisor of all Finance, Human Resources, Logistics, IT, and Quality departments within a multi-company SME, a subsidiary of a US NASDAQ-listed group.

BLACK BOX France: sale of IT equipment and services, network specialist. Turnover: €15 million, 40 people. Main work performed:

REPORTING: Member of the Management Committee. Management of several departments. Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting according to US GAAP standards to the parent company. Use of Excel software.

FINANCIAL: Operating Budget, Projected Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Budget. Contact person for financial institutions.

MANAGEMENT: Monitoring of general expenses, commercial margin, and logistics costs. Analysis of logistics statistics and customer risk. Implementation of procedures.

TAX: Preparation and control of various tax returns (Tax return package, VAT, CFE, CVAE...).

ACCOUNTING: Full responsibility for the review of general accounting. Preparation of the year-end balance sheet and appendix (use of CEGI Expert software). Participation in several mergers and acquisitions. HR: Establishment of the Works Council and payment of employee profit-sharing. Main contact person for employee representative bodies. Assistance to the payroll department. Social security declarations.

IT: Lead for the finance part on the project to convert the existing ERP to a European solution. Knowledge of micro, network, AX Dynamics, Sage, AS400 environments.

LOGISTICS: Team management, supervision of productivity and physical inventories.

QUALITY: Lead for renewal and change audits of the ISO standard.

Head of a team of 30 people, responsible for accounting, reporting, and tax and social declarations. Lead for the finance part on the project to convert the existing IT system to a European solution compatible with Year 2000 and the Euro. Experience with micro, network, AS400, SAP, and Hyperion environments.
