Diane Le Mercier

After spending five years as head of creation for the Parisian jewelry brand Verger Frères, I left this position to settle in Bordeaux and start freelancing.

During my experience in updating the brand Verger Frères, I had the opportunity to propose designs, both in 'traditional' high jewelry (unique pieces, high-end sets, updating antique jewelry...) and in numerous collections with a more modern, minimalist, and refined design.

As the only person dedicated to creation within the reborn brand, I immediately had to be very versatile: In addition to developing new collections, research, and jewelry designs, traditionally by hand (sketchboards, gouaches, plasticine, waxes, technical drawings...), I quickly had to train myself on Photoshop to satisfy the need for product variations as quickly as possible (modifications of shapes, changes in gold colors, materials...) This led me to a good mastery of digital tools, allowing me to quickly produce realistic and easily modifiable jewelry renderings.

I also do all sorts of illustration, with a penchant for animals and plants.
