Description

My name is Diana Lara and I am a jewelry and accessories designer based in Paris, France.

I obtained a master's degree in 'Accessory Design' from the Polytechnic University of Milan, as my dream has always been to become a jewelry and accessories designer and after my master's degree, I took a goldsmithing course at the Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana in Milan, and more recently I obtained a diploma in gouache drawing in high jewelry from the Haute École de joaillerie in Paris.

I worked as a jewelry designer for a contemporary Italian jewelry brand in Milan called Manuganda, designing new collections from concept to final piece (modeling and 3D printing). Before leaving for Italy and thanks to my experience as an industrial designer, I worked in my country as a senior luxury furniture designer for 4 years.

Furthermore, I won the jewelry design competition called Mundo Imperial 2017 in Mexico, and one of my jewelry and eyewear designs was exhibited at Milano Design Week 2017 by the Politecnico di Milano.

Thanks to my strong skills with 3D software, Adobe Creative Suite, and freehand and digital drawing, I have worked as an independent jewelry design consultant for several jewelry brands in Italy, the United States, China, and Latin America, developing new collections from concept to final piece (3D modeling for casting).

Life gave me the opportunity to start a life here in Paris where I had the opportunity to intern at Sparkl Trade, a startup specializing in the custom creation of colored gemstone jewelry, where my work consists of creating the concept, technical specifications, and supervising the development of engagement rings.
