Efficacity is a research and development center dedicated to the energy transition of urban areas. Launched in 2014 with state support through a significant investment program, it brings together on one site the skills of over 100 researchers from industry, engineering, and public research.

During this assignment, I designed and then implemented a web application used by a simulation engine aimed at reducing energy consumption at the neighborhood level. This application consists of a backend and a frontend.

The backend, exposed as a microservice, was developed in Python using Flask. The data generated by the simulation engine is stored in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

The frontend was created with JQuery coupled with the CSS framework 'Material Design for Bootstrap' and the 'Jinja' template engine provided by Flask.
