I am David Witten, a passionate software developer based in the heart of Germany.

Since discovering my interest in software development in early 2017 through Bitcoin, I have continuously expanded my skills in web development, specializing in modern technologies like React.js and Next.js. From 2018 to 2022, alongside my studies in physical technologies (B.Eng.), I built various web applications and websites for friends and family to hone my skills. In 2020, I launched a SaaS service, offering a unique cryptographic solution for Bitcoin wallets.

In 2022, I joined SVA System Vertrieb Alexander, a leading German IT system integrator, as a Blockchain Consultant and Web Developer. There, I worked on Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) solutions and developed several blockchain applications with advanced authentication and identity management methods.

My passion for learning new technologies and working on exciting projects drives me to continuously improve my expertise. I possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, excellent time management, and a solid understanding of English. Moreover, I’m a good listener and a reliable team player.

In August 2024, I made the leap into freelancing as a full-time web developer.
