Davide Cosi

I'm Davide Cosi and I'm an Italian translator with a master degree LLCER-Etudes Italiennes in translation at the University of Strasbourg. I have a bachelor's degree in Modern Literatures and translation from the Università del Salento, specialized in English and French.

I am a freelance translator since 2019. In this period I have earn lots of experience translating, localizing and proofreading different text, about many different subjects, but mostly about economy, marketing, law and specializing myself in SEO translation. Last year I have also started translating and subtitling video for TED. I have mostly worked on platform like Babelcube, Oneforma, Traduc, Proz, Fiver and Upwork. Moreover, I already have experience using different CAT tools such as Trados Studio, Phrase and DeepL.

Habituated to work under pressure, in short delay and to take project that are already started from another translator. I have developed an incredible time managing skill.

I use to take my decision rationally and calmly, in my work as in my life. I work since years with different associations and NGOs such as WWF, Amnesty International and European Food Banks Federation, in France and Italy, learning their legal and administrative language, like a volunteer or a translator.
