Dave Ghysels

Born a true Libra, I prefer to be busy with 'experience'. Within my circle, I am known as direct, extrovert, stylish, and humorous. My close circle would describe me as creative, hardworking, stubborn, and endlessly romantic. Oh, and a beautifier ;)

I studied Marketing and then started Stichting Marketing as my first event experience to connect young marketers with the power of Marketing and Experience. The spark for branding and events ignited at a brand agency in Brussels where I worked for A-list brands like Coca-Cola and Diageo. That brand experience continued at a press agency where I was responsible for clients like SIA and 20th Century Fox; followed by a career at an international recruiter where I was responsible for Marketing, Communications & Events for 12 years, from Officer to Director BeNeLux.

Launching and positioning brands, brand experience, internal communication, employer branding, and engagement are therefore firmly in my grasp, with the Great Place To Work award and various conferences as the cherry on the marketing cake. I draw my inspiration and motivation from trending social media and marketing platforms, but especially from the stories of local entrepreneurs.

In my free time, I enjoy being creative with styling and poetry, I enjoy moments of sport and rest, and I am fascinated by short trips. I started my own agency out of passion and expertise, but mainly because I like to work personally, on the ball, and on a small scale. For over 20 years, my hobby has been my work, with events, but also as a media and communications trainer and presenter.

Today, I like to position myself as a true event, hosting & styling expert.
