I am a Java backend developer with over 20 years of experience and more than 5 years as a development lead in a fintech company, leading teams and payment platforms. I help startups and digital companies design, build, and scale microservices and critical APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes on AWS.

I have extensive experience in distributed systems architecture, asynchronous messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka), integrations with payment gateways and financial services, as well as quality practices (automated testing, code review, CI/CD). I am comfortable both defining the architecture and getting into the code details to unblock the team.

I am looking for collaborations of around 20 hours/month, preferably remote, for: design and implementation of new microservices, performance and resilience improvements in existing APIs, payment integrations, and support as a "guard architect" for teams that need a senior reference without hiring them full-time.
