• • Built and launched Passeriq, an AI-powered Shopify app that analyses customer reviews and turns them into product improvement insights for merchants.

• • Owned the full product build across Java/Spring Boot backend work, JavaScript frontend implementation, Shopify integration, OpenAI API usage, debugging, manual testing, release preparation, and Shopify App Store review submission.

• • Used Passeriq as a real product base to create a structured technical QA audit workflow, including test scenarios, issue

logging, severity classification, screenshots, PDF reporting, and screen-recorded walkthroughs.

• • Performed structured QA passes on Passeriq covering onboarding, review analysis workflow, UI behaviour, error handling, product trust signals, and launch-readiness risks.

• • Current commercial focus: developer-led QA/product audits for SaaS, Shopify, and web app teams, focused on broken flows, UX friction, onboarding issues, defects, and release-readiness risks.

• • After a Merative group redundancy, took a deliberate career break after more than a decade working on the same enterprise product environment, using the period for travel, family time, and reset before refocusing on hands-on technical work.

• • Later in the period, refreshed Spring Boot, RESTful web services, Java EE/JSP, and Android development through courses and smaller app projects.

• • Moved from a purely enterprise software path toward independent product building and technical QA/product review work, leading into Passeriq development and the current QA contract/audit direction.

Investigated, fixed, and validated internally and externally reported defects in a large Java EE enterprise application used in social and health care programme delivery.

Worked on customer issue triage / Level 3 support: reproduced reported behaviour, separated genuine product defects from configuration or user-flow issues, and provided clear technical explanations or corrective guidance.

Led or coordinated work in Logging, Reporting, and Globalisation areas, including configuration/build updates, release readiness checks, translation file coordination, and verification of expected product behaviour.

Mentored junior developers on local environment setup, framework usage, coding practices, and defect investigation within the Curam codebase.
