At Probat SE, an extensive redevelopment of the control and monitoring software for various machines was initiated. An "old" software, which had grown over the last almost 40 years, was to be redeveloped. A very extensive concept and design system was created for this purpose. Our task as frontend developers was, based on the general specifications, to redevelop the various parts of the system using web technologies. This particularly required intensive familiarization with electrical engineering and the process of mechanical engineering and machine handling. The software was developed for both touch panels, which allow direct control at the machine, and for a desktop PC, which can be located in a control room. During my training period, I was able to attend an intensive Angular course at the Angular School.

At CHECK24, I was employed as a Senior Web Developer and worked in the frontend team on the cruise comparison application. Our team was responsible for both the desktop and mobile versions of the application, as well as the gateway for connecting the various APIs of our own services. I was primarily responsible for the "Payment" area, handling both the connection of payment providers and the required interfaces, as well as the creation of the necessary frontend components. In the web team, the web application of waipu.tv was extended, maintained, and improved. The applications from the existing mono-repo were to be standardized through code standards and thus become more maintainable. The test coverage was also increased through unit and component tests. In addition, great importance was placed on the performance of the website, and corresponding measurements and improvements were carried out.
