• Secured major program extension, increasing budget from SGD 20M to 60M by demonstrating value, managing scope and negotiating variations with the customer.

Project Leadership

• Led the full lifecycle of airport IT & security systems from design to commissioning, operational handover and defect liability period.
• Achieved successful commissioning and start of operations in May 2018, ensuring integration with airport operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Secured a USD 10M project extension (from 40M to 50M) by identifying additional customer needs, and leading scope definition and commercial negotiations.

JV / In‑Country Leadership

• Served as for the effectively representing Thales in Pakistan in absence of a permanent local office.
• Set up and managed JV registration with local authorities (tax, legal, customs), ensuring full compliance with Pakistani regulations.
• Opened and managed JV bank accounts, controlled cash flow, payments and fund transfers in line with JV agreements, project milestones and partner obligations.
• Oversaw local procurement and subcontracting, including supplier selection, negotiation and performance management, ensuring technical, commercial and compliance alignment.
• Led HR and people management for JV operations (recruitment, contracts, performance, day‑to‑day issues), managing local teams and support staff.
• Coordinated with embassies and ministries to secure visas and travel for overseas training and to respond to requests from the Ministry of Aviation and other authorities.
• Acted as de‑facto in‑country CEO for the JV, accountable for the overall operational, financial and administrative performance in Pakistan.
