In my childhood, sawfish often appeared in my dreams. I was fascinated by their impressive saw-shaped snout and made dozens of drawings of these special fish, which I thought only existed in my imagination.

Later I discovered that the sawfish really exists — it is a rare and almost extinct species that played a spiritual and mythological role in various cultures. The sawfish is also an important symbol for me. It was my very first drawing, the constant shaping of a dream image, the externalization of an idea that initially only existed in my mind.
