"B.O.B or the end of Innocence" was born from a desire to create and prove that with hard work and mutual support, success is possible. Before this film, we had each worked individually or together on several other medium and short film projects. But this project was much more ambitious, we wanted more! This film was born at the end of a university exchange with Canada. The initial team was made up of students from the program, who came together to create the KSET Production association. It was after a brainstorming session that the first criteria for the film came to life. We started from the Quebec expression: "écouter un film" which simply means watching a film. We wanted a fantasy film in a realistic world. As realistic as we were ourselves, given the resources, budget, limited time, and the team's availability for this shoot. We were not supported by a production company, and it was the KSET team that played the roles of producers, screenwriters, technical crew, sometimes extras, and film post-production. Thanks to multiple partnerships and a Ulule campaign that raised 8000 euros, the film saw the light of day... Well, almost. The pandemic delayed the project's completion. But that's another story.

Synopsis:

Suffering from a rare disease that erratically disrupts their senses and completely inhibits them to external stimuli, Charlie struggles to find their place among other young people their age. Their encounter with Bob, an everyday superhero, allows them to create a new identity through videos they make about him, which they then upload to promote his actions. But from shadow to light, there is only one step…
