Due to the specificities of the client and its business sector, they needed support and a takeover of their information system with the objective of improving the customer experience and thus their e-commerce platform based on Magento.

The assessment highlighted many areas for improvement across all departments: after-sales service, marketing, management, logistics. This cross-functional experience enhances the retail expertise acquired.

General aspects:

The assessment identified technical debt and areas for improvement. These points were prioritized to optimize the platform step-by-step within the desired timelines.

The complexity of the information system imposes many technical constraints. It was necessary to adapt the platform to achieve a high-performing Magento platform that meets the client's needs.

Working directly with the retailer is always very rewarding, with project agility, responsiveness, and putting the user back at the center of the project.

I had the opportunity to join the technical team in 2014 to stabilize the solution, improve its performance, develop new features, expand internationalization (8 stores), and structure the team's work.

The main challenge of the project is traffic management, thus volume, and ensuring the integration of the project into the IS.

Automatic processes for control, data management and integration, and validation of flows sent by various departments (logistics, customers...) had to be implemented.

- Project management on the Build side (productivity) and temporarily Run (managing high-traffic site issues on production environments)
