All database files were hosted on the same disk.2. The database collation and SQL Server collation were not identical, leading to implicit conversions for each query.3. Deficient / to be strengthened security.4. Performance issues caused by:- lack of indexing,- incorrect CPU configuration and alignment,- lack of usable memory,- poorly written and resource-intensive queries.5. An evaluation license for SQL Server Enterprise about to expire.Consequences: clients/users were highly impacted and dissatisfied with performance and wanted a viable and permanent solution quickly.First, we sought and selected for the client TransportStaf, a version of SQL Server Standard 2022 allowing better CPU configuration at minimal cost. We guided and supported the client step-by-step through the installation phase, enabling their team to upskill while ensuring a performant, professional, and stable SQL Server installation.Then, we were able to move quickly to a new deployment and add the required cumulative updates.On this reliable and qualitative foundation, maintenance tasks were added using maintenance scripts recommended by the DBA community, and the new SQL Server 2022 standard server was deployed in one day.The users are now very satisfied.The monitoring of the TransportStaf client's database is now handled by us, using CMM Metric Manager, along with technical support for the client's IT team.

This client uses PostgreSQL as a caching database for its data integration and management platform application. The audit identified and analyzed various performance issues at the caching database level and for the generated queries. The points noted concerned server configuration parameters, indexing, resource consumption, and inefficient use of column data types.With the help of this audit, we were able to propose efficient recommendations and solutions to resolve the identified problems.
- AvizzeoApplication Update Failure on CloudEDUCATION AND E-LEARNINGMarch 2022 - Today (4 years and 3 months)Paris, FranceInitial context and problem:Avizzeo's production environment ran on its cloud service using Kubernetes.Frequent application version upgrades (deployed via automated updates by their cloud service provider) prevented Avizzeo's applications from starting and running correctly after deployment. This situation required Avizzeo to manually redeploy application components (for each environment) and then restart.Method and expertise:Following discussions with their developers and an in-depth analysis of the malfunction and various tests, we identified a DNS resolution error.This error prevented Avizzeo's servers from downloading updates, completing their deployment process, and correctly restarting application services after the cloud's automated updates were deployed.Resolution and outcome:We then enabled DNS caching on each cluster to resolve the update issues.We are now continuing our collaboration with Avizzeo by assisting them with their future development and IT support needs.
