Sophie Couget

I created RODEO, a photographic project where several universes meet: the riding culture, design, and documentary.

In parallel, I also work in event photography, covering seminars, sports events, and other gatherings.

I worked at the ACOI firm in Bordeaux as an architect and site supervisor, an experience that allowed me to develop a complete vision of architectural project design and execution. My role involved intervening from the initial study and design phases, taking into account technical, regulatory, and budgetary constraints, to propose creative solutions tailored to client needs.

As a site supervisor, I managed the coordination of various stakeholders – companies, design offices, artisans – and oversaw construction sites until their delivery. This mission taught me to combine aesthetic requirements with technical rigor, while ensuring deadlines and costs were met.

This experience provided me with solid expertise in project management, partner communication, and mastery of the different stages necessary for the completion of an architectural operation.

I had the opportunity to work at the CGC Architectes agency as an interior architect and designer. This experience allowed me to participate in various interior design and renovation projects, where the focus was on the balance between volumes, light, color, and functionality. I contributed to the design of coherent and aesthetic spaces, integrating custom furniture and solutions tailored to client needs.

My role also involved close collaboration with various project stakeholders – engineers, decorators, colorists, and fitters – which enriched my understanding of integrated design. I was able to develop my technical skills, particularly through the use of BIM and site supervision, while consolidating my commitment to sustainability and the reasoned choice of materials.

This experience at CGC Architectes strengthened my rigor, creativity, and commitment to elegant and responsible interior architecture.
