Description

My name is Colin Champdavoine, a front-end developer specializing in React, Next.js, and TypeScript. I help companies, startups, and freelancers who need modern, efficient, and easy-to-maintain interfaces.

Educated at the 42 school, I started at Withings then Nokia, where I worked on internal tools and strengthened my mastery of React in a demanding technical environment.

I then joined Connecting Food at Station F, where I was in charge of all the front-end: showcase website, blog, mobile-first PWA, and a custom CMS for generating web apps without writing code. This experience taught me to manage a product from start to finish, autonomously.

Since 2020, I have been working at IZI Solutions / IZI by EDF. I participated in the complete redesign of the mobile application (performance, design, migration, testing, store publication), and developed a B2B2C portal as well as custom internal tools. I am accustomed to agile environments, progressive migrations (TypeScript, Tailwind, React Query), and clean, structured work.

During my 6 months internship, my job was to design a python script to generate fake accounts for Tests or Marketing usage. I had to create fake data imitating the official format and pattern (JSON) and make calls to the intern API to stock them into the database (Cassandra/PostgresQL). At the end, my script was able to generate any available data for each device and activity tracked by Withings/Nokia products.

Then I was hired for 6 months as a Full Stack Engineer to do a Front-End Developer Job. The goal was to reconstruct an inner tool page : a Search Engine into all databases. It was mainly use by the Support Teams to find any products or users the easiest way possible. I had to learn the React/Redux combination to build a dynamic system which displays data in a faster and more readable way using asynchronous javascript. It was really rewarding because it made me work on both developing and designing (UX/UI) the app.
