Clément Mattei

The State of Geneva is the public administration responsible for the canton, providing essential services to over 500,000 citizens. With a critical information system and thousands of employees, data management and analysis are at the heart of the proper functioning of public services (security, justice, education...).

I joined the Business Intelligence (BI) team of the State of Geneva, composed of about fifteen people, as an Informatica Tech Lead to ensure the reliability, evolution, and performance of strategic data flows for various business departments.

I performed the following tasks:

- Development and optimization of complex mappings in Informatica PowerCenter (API integration, XML parsing...).

- Diagnosis, redesign, and anomaly resolution on decision-making reports (Cognos).

- Monitoring of functional evolutions and management of production incidents in a critical environment.

- Close collaboration with internal clients (Police, Justice, Education) to translate their needs into data solutions.

Since the beginning of my assignment, I have been contributing to the reliability of the BI environment by streamlining incident management and ensuring high availability of data for public services.

Richemont is one of the world's leading luxury groups, owning prestigious Maisons such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and IWC. With a turnover exceeding €20 billion, the group is undergoing a major digital transformation supported by a global and interconnected data ecosystem.

I joined Richemont's Integration team as an Informatica Tech Lead to manage and develop critical data flows between the Cloud (GCP), ERP (SAP), and CRM (Salesforce), serving the Supply Chain, Finance, and Retail departments.

I performed the following tasks:

- Management and development of hybrid integration flows (On-premise to Cloud) via Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC (CDI).

- Industrialization of complex interfaces between SAP and Anaplan for planning needs.

- Implementation of advanced mappings using APIs (WebDAV, JMS, Service Connectors, CAI).

- Management of the data lifecycle: from development to production incident resolution in a critical environment.

- Cross-functional collaboration in an international and bilingual environment (French/English).

My mission has secured and automated data exchanges between the group's technological pillars (SAP, Salesforce, GCP). This industrialization has reduced manual interventions on financial and logistical flows, ensuring better data integrity for closing and inventory reports.

Technical context: Informatica IDMC (CAI/CDI), PowerCenter 10.4.1, GCP, SAP BW/CRM, Salesforce, Anaplan, REST/WebDAV APIs, JMS, Postman, Jira, Confluence, Agile.

Within Richemont's Wholesale team, the challenge was to modernize the global B2B platform to streamline commercial relationships with luxury partners and resellers. This digital transformation project aimed to migrate the entire transactional ecosystem to a modern Salesforce infrastructure.

I joined the Wholesale team as an Informatica Tech Lead to manage the integration and migration of data for over 20,000 international points of sale, ensuring service continuity during deployments (roll-outs).

I performed the following tasks:

- Complete migration of critical data from the old platform (SQL Server) to the new one (Salesforce).

- Development and optimization of complex PowerCenter mappings integrating API calls (REST/SOAP).

- Technical orchestration of international deployment waves (roll-outs).

- Gathering business requirements, estimating development efforts, and coordinating with functional teams.

- Automation of integration processes to ensure data exchange reliability.

During my assignment, I ensured the successful migration of over 20,000 points of sale without service interruption. The automation of flows and recurring tasks led to a 30% reduction in manual interventions, significantly increasing the productivity of the support team and the reliability of customer data.
