About Clément

Product designer and heritage enthusiast, I design objects, furniture, and systems by placing usage, materials, and durability at the heart of the project.

I develop a comprehensive approach, from design to prototyping, with particular attention to eco-design and reuse. My work aims to offer functional, coherent, and meaningful solutions.

Manufacturing of solid wood furniture (oak, ash, walnut, burnt wood), from the selection of species to the production of the final pieces. Preparation of cuts, machining, assembly, and finishing (sanding, surface treatment), ensuring the quality of execution and the durability of the works.

Design and modeling of furniture and structures using CAD (Rhinoceros 3D + Vizcom), integrating technical constraints, material choices, and manufacturing processes. Creation of technical drawings, definition of sections, assemblies, and tolerances in direct connection with manufacturing.

Close collaboration with the workshop, allowing for an iterative approach between design and production: adjustments during manufacturing, optimization of parts, anticipation of assembly and implementation constraints.

Development of a particular sensitivity to materials, their behavior, and their shaping, as well as to the precision of assemblies and the quality of finishes.

Racine - an alternative to the glass wine bottle
    WINE AND SPIRITS
    February 2025 - April 2026 (1 year and 2 months)
    Toulouse, France
Racine is a product design project that profoundly rethinks wine packaging.
Facing the environmental and economic limitations of the glass bottle—energy-intensive, little reused, and resource-dependent—the project offers a sustainable, local, and meaningful alternative.

Racine is materialized by a 100% returnable earthenware wine bottle, designed and manufactured in the heart of the vineyards. By relying on local resources and artisanal know-how, it allows for the relocation of part of the production while reducing the carbon footprint associated with transport and manufacturing.

Beyond the material, the project is based on a reuse logic: the bottle is collected, washed, and then reintroduced into the circuit, transforming a disposable object into a durable medium. This circular approach is accompanied by a reflection on usage and perception: the bottle becomes an object that one keeps, which embodies a territory and participates in a more conscious consumption experience.

Developed in collaboration with independent winemakers and a ceramist and presented at two design competitions (Prix'Creativ Impact and Design Award 2026), Racine is part of a grounded approach.

More than a container, Racine is an invitation to rethink our relationship with wine, objects, and territory.

    Furniture and Interior Design
    ARTS AND CRAFTS
    October 2024 - June 2025 (8 months)
    Toulouse, France
Design and development of furniture and professional space layouts (offices, agoras, hybrid spaces) with an eco-design approach, incorporating materials from reuse (wood, plastics, metals).

Sourcing and selection of materials from local reuse channels, considering their availability, technical constraints, and transformation potential. Definition of suitable solutions balancing aesthetics, usage, and production constraints.

3D modeling (Rhinoceros) and creation of mock-ups to validate formal intentions, volumes, and uses. Development of functional prototypes to test assemblies, structural resistance, and layout ergonomics.

Project follow-up from design to manufacturing, in direct collaboration with the workshop: adapting designs to the real constraints of second-hand materials, optimizing cuts and assemblies, participating in manufacturing and on-site implementation.

Development of a systemic design approach, integrating environmental issues, material life cycles, and reuse logic into concrete and operational projects.
