Claudie Marin

Since I was very young, I've been drawing. In school, it was just a hobby, then illustration became a passion and a desire to make it my profession. Going my own way, after a baccalaureate in applied arts (STI) and a diploma in visual communication from the Graphisme et communication training center (Paris 13th), I completed several internships in agencies, workshops, publishing, and press. Le Petit Juriste trusted me to illustrate the cover of the "Guide de l’étudiant en droit 2015-2016" (Student's Guide to Law 2015-2016), as well as several magazines. These experiences led me to a position as a graphic designer and layout artist for textbooks, supplementary educational materials, and e-learning. I notably participated in several lifestyle and cooking books, and permaculture books (illustrations and layout), with Hachette, Foucher, Bordas, etc.

Curious and creative, I collaborated and created illustrations for a comic strip with screenwriter Victor de Coster for the town halls of Gentilly and Neuilly-sur-Marne between 2018-2020. In 2021, I worked with the team of the Mission Locale de Pantin, and illustrated the comic strip "Une vie de moineau" (A Sparrow's Life), which retraces the emancipation of a young person during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have just signed my first contract as an illustrator for the graphic novel "Petit-Mô" with Ex Aequo editions. New projects are in the pipeline and fueled by the trust you will grant me! Perhaps you?
