The comprehensive document covers what needs to be known about the description, sizing, operational monitoring, potential malfunctions, performance, and operating costs of various types of "Biofor" systems. This knowledge base is the result, put on paper, of several decades of experience in pilot experimentation, operation, and optimization of industrial-scale plants, including the development of adapted and patented tools to evolve this treatment process, as well as the essential procedures to achieve it.

Commissioning of the Biscarrosse Wastewater Treatment Plant:
Diagnosed the plant's malfunction. Significantly modified the treatment process to meet regulatory requirements and accept the facility. This study required me to detail the sizing and operation of the wastewater treatment plant in relation to the DDA of Landes and CEMAGREF. This project led me to play the role of "expert".

Process Air Control Software in Biological Basins:
To meet a request from Limoges Agglo, I developed a complete system for managing process air in biological basins, aimed at controlling nitrification/denitrification sequences and the operation of blowers to adapt their speed to bacterial respiration needs. The algorithm, based on reliable probes, is self-adaptive thanks to dynamic thresholds, which resulted in significant savings in electricity consumption.

Plant Rehabilitation
My experience at Suez was leveraged for the optimization or rehabilitation of various processes, whether through conventional biological treatment or biofiltration, as well as more recent processes like ultrafiltration membranes. The plants I visited and contributed to are numerous and located in various countries worldwide (Europe, Africa, America, Asia, Oceania).

Innovations and Patents:
Several of the innovations I proposed have been implemented industrially at certain sites. Several patents corresponding to these innovations have been filed.
