Christophe Lepère

Born in 1995 and raised in the salty sea air of Ostend, I discovered my creative drive in 2020, which eventually led me to graphic design.

As a 90s kid, I was shaped by the games, music videos, and the many iconic films of my youth. The skate scene, both locally and globally, influenced my perspective back then, even though I was more of a spectator than a pro. The hard guitars, the underdog vibe, and the striking brands associated with that scene drew me in like a moth to a flame. That energy, DIY spirit, and raw edge have shaped my perspective, and they still seep into how I think and design. I draw inspiration from the things that make me happy: an old-school skate brand, timeless album covers, concept art from iconic video games, and everything in between.

But I truly found myself when I stumbled upon Online & Offline Graphic Design (OOG) at Howest, where I discovered I was actually good at graphic work. That's when the puzzle pieces fell into place: my love for imagery, color, typography, and composition finally had direction and meaning. Since then, I've immersed myself daily in designs that not only stand out visually but also leave a lasting impression.
