Role: Technical Project Expert for migration, 17 financial applications from HP UX to Linux, for IRP (Investment Reporting & Performance).

Responsibilities - Transverse project expertise with: Portfolio Managers (France), DevTeam (India, Portugal), Support (France, Portugal, India).

• Facilitation of objective meetings, Inventory, development, testing, technical support for migrated batches, before and after deployment.

• Analysis of architecture documents, extraction of components to migrate. Cross-referencing information for firewall rule opening.

• Study and adaptation between proposed architectures, CFT migration scenarios, and script functionality.

• Monitoring and control of installed components, architecture robustness against simulated incidents, continuity and DRP testing.

• Porting HPUX to Linux, creation of portability analysis scripts. Unification and optimization of 2500 shell, sed, awk, perl, C scripts into 600 files for all environments, resulting in test time savings.

• Creation of a batch crontab to Autosys converter. Training.

• Switch from old to new system: reconfiguration and deployment timelines, merging 17 migrations over 52 hours, involving over 70 participants from Europe and India.

• Support. Preparation for decommissioning of old systems.

Migration of financial applications within an investment bank 10/2019 – 06/2020 Role: DevOps Engineer. Porting applications from Solaris to Linux. DevOps team of 7 people within a Feature Team of 100 people, in coordination with testing, delivery, and support teams.

Responsibilities - Definition, monitoring, and achievement of objectives using Agile methodology.

• Inventory of technologies and languages used, and their proportions.

• Portability study of technical components and the four main languages. Porting and tuning of 1500 shell scripts to Linux/ksh93 target.

• Migration of DollarUniverse batches to Autosys.

• Update or creation of Git repositories. Continuous integration and testing. Preparation for production deployment.
