Christophe Julenon

Mathematics, physical sciences, and chemistry teacher for several years, I currently work in a vocational high school where I support students with diverse profiles, in initial training as well as in programs requiring adapted pedagogy. My experience covers teaching mathematics in middle school, high school, vocational high school, and internationally, which has allowed me to develop a great adaptability, solid pedagogical skills, and an approach focused on the success of each student.

As part of my duties, I design teaching sequences, assessments, and pedagogical materials adapted to program objectives and the real needs of learners. I also work with students in the ULIS program and students with special educational needs, implementing differentiated pedagogy, simplified instructions, progressive activities, and tools that promote autonomy, understanding, and engagement.

My goal is to make learning accessible, concrete, and motivating, while maintaining an appropriate level of demand. I pay particular attention to individualized support, recognizing progress, preparing for exams, and building lasting skills that are useful both in academic and professional life.

Mathematics teacher at La Salle Saint-Michel middle school in Saint-Denis de La Réunion, I taught the subject to middle school students, ensuring the construction of solid foundations, the development of logical reasoning, and the support of each student's progress. This experience allowed me to strengthen my skills in course preparation, exercise and assessment design, as well as classroom management for diverse student profiles.

On a daily basis, I implemented a structured, progressive, and accessible pedagogy to foster understanding of concepts, student autonomy, and their engagement in learning. I also paid particular attention to individual monitoring, remediation, and adaptation of pedagogical approaches based on identified needs.

I enriched my practices by using educational digital tools such as **Plickers, Geogebra, Scratch**, and LaTeX, both for conducting sessions and for designing clear, structured, and adapted course materials. These tools allowed me to energize learning, promote classroom interactivity, and offer visually appealing and pedagogically effective resources.

This experience consolidated my ability to teach clearly, maintain a learning-conducive environment, and support students towards academic success with rigor, kindness, and consistency.
