Magento developer for over 12 years, I've been immersed in PHP since the early 2000s. After a taste of Zend Framework, I dove into the CMS with the orange "M" – and I've never really left.
Today, I primarily work on Magento 2, but remain open to any project combining web development and sustainable development.
My skills, my interests
- PHP with MySQL, MariaDB, in procedural, OOP, or CLI
- Magento 1 & 2, Symfony 4+, Prestashop, Joomla... (even WordPress but that's between us :-) )
- JavaScript with more or less known and more or less recent libraries (from Prototype to AlpineJS). I understand how KnockoutJS works in Magento 2 (not everyone does).
- I speak Hyvä and Tailwind fluently.
- I can get the most obscure environments imagined by your architects and DevOps to work on my machine.
- My training experience means I master the web logic of HTML and CSS with many preprocessors.
- I like to learn and teach.
- I love finding and fixing bottlenecks for performance.
How I work
I've touched many things, out of curiosity as much as necessity. I am a strong advocate for versioning and clear processes, but I keep a cool head when everything is on fire around me (my adventurous side).
I like it when the code is clean, communication is simple, and humor is present daily.
I know how to move fast, with pragmatism and transparency, and I attach great importance to regular communication with the client.
I can work on a fixed-price basis if the framework is well-defined and dialogue is constant.
I have measured confidence in the code of my peers – let's say… just enough.
And when I'm not coding, I cultivate: nature, gardening, writing, travel.
