Christophe Chemin

Colorist and director based in Paris, I develop an approach to the image centered on the precision of contrasts. Coming from a background combining fiction projects, music videos, and advertising films, I have progressively built a demanding practice of color grading, exploring both digital tools and film dynamics (grain, textures...).

My work aims to support the vision of the cinematographer and director, bringing coherence, subtlety, and depth to the image, without ever over-signifying it. Each project is approached as a balance between artistic intention and technical requirement, with particular attention paid to skin tones, highlights, and density consistency.

I currently work on commercial and narrative projects, in the studio or remotely, in close collaboration with the image teams.
