If I tell you that I support companies with consulting in environment, sustainable development, CSR, and energy efficiency, you'll tell me: 'Yes, and so what? Many consultants do the same thing, and some are as good as you,' and you'd be right to say that. However, perhaps by telling you that for me, sustainable development is also a way of life, maybe that's what sets me apart from others. I am passionate about sustainable development, the environment, and energy efficiency, and I live them fully; not just on paper, but very concretely, because pragmatism is what changes things. As an example, consider my vision of my company and what is in place. I encourage my employees in all initiatives that will reduce their environmental impact. As I often tell them, 'we are not just here to advise our clients, but we must also set an example by applying it to ourselves first.' For my part, I do some of my business travel by bike (2000 km in 2025) because I believe that change will come, among other things, from that. Another, somewhat personal, example is my house. I renovated it while seeking to reduce my energy consumption and my carbon footprint. The thermography I practice helped me identify potential energy savings. For instance, I heat my home with solar thermal energy and store 1.3 tons of hot water. This allows me to heat my home and shower. When the weather isn't nice enough, I heat it with a boiler stove that stores energy in a wall with sufficient thermal inertia to release it into the building for several hours after the stove turns off. I also leverage this way of thinking for the companies I support, for whom I try to propose and replicate innovative and effective ideas.
