Christoph De Barry

After studies in philosophy and social development, I have had various professional experiences: socio-cultural activities, local social development consulting, ecological construction, emergency accommodation for asylum seekers.

In early 2018, I decided (finally) to give free rein to my high school passion: photography. Thanks, among other things, to my integration into the Studio Hans Lucas, my activity has developed rapidly.

Since then, I joyfully share the daily lives of my contemporaries, whose fleeting moments I passionately recount within the reach of my lenses.

Trained "on the job," I sketch my own photographic approach by engaging with reality. Between poetry and revolt, innocent naivety and critical thinking: uncovering life's paradoxes, bearing witness to humanity's incredible strength/vulnerability, telling sensitive stories...
