Christophe Amory

ANEO is a consulting firm specializing in software engineering, cloud, data, and distributed architectures. The company develops ArmoniK, an Open Source distributed computing platform that enables large-scale intensive processing via a serverless cluster-orchestrated Client-Worker model.

In this context, I designed and developed the official ArmoniK Java SDK, a set of open-source libraries providing a modern and idiomatic API for creating Java clients and workers capable of interacting with the platform.

► Main Achievements

• Complete design and development of the Java SDK

• Definition and implementation of interoperability conventions between different SDKs

• Design of a flexible Java Worker, supporting static and dynamic modes (runtime JAR loading)

• Implementation of an asynchronous programming model and an optimized data management flow (upload, download, gRPC streaming, retry, chunking)

• Setup of a CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions, including automated publication on Maven Central.

• Writing clear documentation, producing examples, and creating tools to facilitate SDK adoption.

• Leading a training day for a client, covering ArmoniK architecture, client/worker development, and associated best practices.

I work at BNP Paribas - Securities Services, within a multidisciplinary team of Agile, Craft, and DevOps coaches, responsible for supporting Agile transformation. My role involves assisting development teams in adopting modern practices:

• code quality (Clean Code, TDD)

• continuous integration and deployment

• modular architecture

• technical collaboration (pair/mob programming, code review)

• continuous improvement

As part of a partnership between the French and Indonesian governments, I collaborated with Thales Digital Factory to support an Indonesian company in its transition to a Digital Factory organization.

As a Craftsmanship/DevOps Coach, I joined a multidisciplinary coaching team. My role was to ensure technical skill development and implement best development practices within an initial squad of 4 developers, with the goal of making them a reference team for future Digital Factory squads.

The main challenge was the team's lack of knowledge in structured languages, best development practices, and continuous integration and deployment processes. To address this, I developed and led an intensive 7-month skills development program, which enabled the team to acquire the necessary foundation to develop an ambitious MVP in 6 sprints.

► MVP Coaching

The team developed an MVP in 6 sprints aimed at facilitating emergency response organization during natural disasters, by coordinating drone pilots to capture images of affected areas. I initially served as Tech Lead to lay a solid foundation, before handing over full autonomy while remaining available for mentoring and strategic advice.
