Country Code Project — Technical Demonstrators & Technological Showcase

I designed and developed a complete solution illustrating the modernization of .NET/WPF applications to recent technologies (.NET 8/9, Blazor, MAUI) with a clear hexagonal architecture, advanced CI/CD, and shared business logic across platforms.

Business cases covered:

• Find a country code from a country

• Find a country from a country code

Objective: Demonstrate the implementation of an existing application base towards a modern, decoupled, testable, and cross-platform base.

Achievements:

• DDD-oriented hexagonal architecture around a central engine

• 6 independent UI adapters:

Automated deployment on Linux VPS:

• Jenkins CI/CD with tests, versioning, .tar.gz / .apk packaging

• Cross-platform publishing (Avalonia, Blazor, MAUI, Console).

• NGINX reverse proxy for public access to each demonstrator

• Desktop, Mobile, Console execution with web URLs:

° Gotty (console)

• Node.js round-robin system for simultaneous sessions

• Automated scripts, services, and configs

• Online web and non-web applications
