[Hackathon] [Centrale Supélec] I would like to share with you an experience I had the privilege of participating in as a business coach. It was the Startup Week organized by the CentraleSupélec Foundation. For a week, I worked with about thirty first-year engineering students, coaching 5 team projects out of the nearly 900 students present. The goal of this event is to encourage students to develop the foundations of their own business, using classic tools (SWOT, Business Model Canvas, Porter's Five Forces...). In collaboration with my dear Xuan Nguyen, we did everything we could to give them confidence to move forward with their projects. By asking them the right questions, we help them clarify their vision, their problem, and their market. By providing them with some advice, we help them effectively communicate their project to a target audience. Finally, by being their cheerleader, I helped them overcome the psychological obstacles inherent in starting a business. It was a challenge throughout the week, culminating in the pitch competition. CentraleSupélec created an exceptional environment and allowed students to work together and exchange ideas. But it was also thanks to the coaches' help that these projects reached this level. I sincerely hope they discovered their entrepreneurial potential. And that these students will continue to grow, keeping in mind the advice we gave them. I thank the students for their trust!
