Indeed, I only had a few illustrations from Dark Souls III and not enough material to create a game worthy of the name. And unfortunately, the original game had not yet been released, so there was no way to get more content. Initially, I based the design of the Facebook game on Dark Souls II, but once the development phase was well underway, I decided to revise the graphics to improve the gaming experience. For this, I was completely inspired by the promotional website of Dark Souls III. It featured greenish colors, flames, and ashes, which had nothing to do with the dark and metallic atmosphere of episode II. I incorporated as many elements as possible, such as ashes sweeping across the screen and the typography, and finally managed to create an atmosphere worthy of Dark Souls III in a new choose-your-own-adventure game.- Supervising the website redesign projectFor this project, I had to bring together the Culture G team to best understand their needs, review the previous specifications, and become the sole point of contact for the Symédiane agency.After receiving the initial mockups, I had to summarize the feedback from the different teams to send it to the agency. My most important role was to ensure deadlines were met. Indeed, I had to constantly monitor the progress of the mockups to minimize delays in development. Each delivery had to be inspected and approved by me. This required good organization and exemplary rigor.Once the final mockups were received, I sliced them in the most efficient way possible, meaning I only kept what was necessary and considered JavaScript animations. In addition to project management and development, I had to find royalty-free images to illustrate the site while keeping the quality/price ratio in mind.
