This position was an opportunity for me to move closer geographically to my home and, above all, to discover accounting from a new angle, moving from an international structure of +600 people to a family structure of 9 people. It was very formative because I was able to work on all the tasks that constitute accounting: Management of integral accounting up to the balance sheet: Clients - suppliers, Treasury, VAT and corporate tax, analysis of turnover, preparation of the balance sheet of the company and its 5 SCI. Commercial management: entry and sending of quotes, ordering and price negotiation with suppliers, reception and stock management, preparation of files for the workshop to carry out productions, establishment of delivery notes, invoicing and payment follow-up. Administrative management: Reception and switchboard management, appointment scheduling, follow-up and management with various service providers related to the premises. HR Management: Preparation of payroll elements for the firm, employment contracts, medical visits.

My role continued as an accountant with the following responsibilities: updating accounts payable and managing outstanding invoices; payment and reminder management; comprehensive management of expense reports; treasury entry; closing tasks (Cut off (accruals-provisions) – various controls) – assistance to the management control department with updating and establishing files; Management and control of our stock margin file.

My role mainly consisted of managing raw material purchases for the various business units (LYON-SOPHIA-CHAMBERY), then accounting assistance. Gradually, my role expanded to include the comprehensive management of expense reports and supplier invoices.
