About Charlotte

Illustrator & Graphic Designer | Events · Publishing

Do you want to capture your audience's attention with an impactful and unique visual that truly reflects the quality of what you offer?

Do you need a strong visual to promote an event, dress a booth, or illustrate a publication, without generic images that could belong to anyone?

Photography testifies, it follows. But illustration has the power to make the invisible visible: emotions, ideas, concepts, stories.

I create custom illustrations that embody my clients' identity and values: attractive, memorable visuals that are legible across all your media.

What my clients get:

  • A unique visual, consistent with their graphic identity
  • Files usable by their graphic designer or printer
  • An illustration that can be adapted to multiple media
  • A contact person who understands the stakes beyond the image: graphic charter, printing constraints, layout

Some proof:

  • 🏆 Award for the most beautiful booth at the International Agricultural Show, two years in a row. (produced by image in france)
  • 🏆 Award in the Publishing category at the Trophées de la communication et de la presse en Normandie. (produced by image in france)
  • Clients such as Décathlon, Région Normandie, Marathon de la Liberté, French Regional Natural Parks, University of Caen.

My specialty:

Traditional tools (drawing, ink, gouache, acrylic) and the Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign): this mix gives my illustrations a lively and organic rendering that cannot be replicated.

  • DECATHLON
Giving a face to brand values 🌟 Illustration for Décathlon
    SPORTS
    March 2025 - March 2025
    Caen, France
    👉️ Context:
    • The Cœur d'Articho agency, in charge of the art direction and layout of the project, called on me to create an illustration.

    ⚠️ Challenges:
    • Reinforce the sense of belonging of Décathlon teams and attract new talent through an internal communication visual rooted in the identity of its Caen site.
    • Embody the brand's values in a joyful and colorful image, without stock photos.
    • Deliver a 100% customizable vector file, ready for large-format printing and text addition, within tight deadlines.

    ⚡️ Actions:
    • Creation of an original illustration on Illustrator with hand-sketched characters for a lively and natural rendering.
    • Integration of the Décathlon logo at the heart of the composition: its tilted dynamic was carried throughout the visual (clouds, hills, islands) (personal proposal for a more impactful composition).
    • Composition designed to naturally accommodate text: the city of Caen is represented as a world of floating islands around the logo. Each element is easily movable.
    • Adherence to the graphic charter for perfect integration into the overall campaign.

    ✨️ Results:
    • A unique visual that carries the brand's values: Vitality - Pleasure - Brotherhood - Nature - Authenticity - Responsibility
    • Structured vector files, immediately usable by the agency.
    • Smooth collaboration, delivered on time despite a tight deadline.

Editorial illustrations: making people want to read what they might have ignored
    PUBLISHING
    October 2025 - November 2025 (1 month)
    Caen, France
    👉️ Context:
    • For the special issue Prisme+, a science and society magazine for high school and university students, the Presses Universitaires de Caen wanted visually impactful article openings — a WOW effect that neither stock photos nor the layout alone could provide.

    ⚠️ Challenges:
    • Visually embody complex subjects to capture the attention of a young and demanding audience.
    • Design illustrations rich enough to be adapted into layout elements throughout each article.
    • Deliver files directly usable by the graphic designer, consistent with the existing preliminary layout.

    ⚡️Actions:
    • Creation of 4 original illustrations — 1 page and 4 double pages — each with its own graphic universe, presented in an intention note (sketches + mood board) before execution.
    • Mixed technique: traditional drawing scanned and integrated into a digital composition (Photoshop & Illustrator), for a graphic rendering combining figurative and abstract, which immediately places the reader in the world of ideas.
    • Files designed from the outset for the graphic designer to freely extract and reuse elements from each illustration.

    ✨️ Results:
    • Visually strong article openings, consistent with the editorial line and target audience.
    • A magazine that stands out thanks to a confident and differentiating graphic identity.
    • Structured files, immediately usable.
    • Smooth collaboration, from brief to delivery.

Event graphic identity: embodying the collective energy of a major sporting event
    SPORTS
    July 2022 - February 2024 (1 year and 7 months)
    Caen, France
    👉️ Context:
    • The Marathon de la Liberté is one of the 5 largest running events in France, bringing together over 30,000 participants on symbolic routes of the D-Day beaches.
    • Within the agency Image in France, I designed a lasting and adaptable graphic identity for all the events (Marathon, Rochambelle, Rollers), across a wide variety of print and digital media.

    ⚠️ Challenges:
    • Create a strong identity, adaptable from one year to the next and across numerous media.
    • Embody strong values: universality, duty of remembrance, peace, and freedom.
    • Maintain overall visual consistency while giving each event its own identity.

    ⚡️ Actions:
    • Focus on the crowd: runners of various profiles moving forward together, to embody the collective energy and universality of the event.
    • Structure driven by diagonals, dominant blue palette for the Marathon, specific pink palette for the Rochambelle, fitting into the overall universe through shared style and composition.
    • Full vector illustration for easy adaptation to all formats.

    ✨️ Results:
    • A recognizable and consistent identity across all events.
    • A lasting visual system, easily adaptable from year to year.
    • A dynamic visual that conveys the positive energy of the Marathon de la Liberté.
