Nurse in the Day Hospital —

Based on the information published by the clinic and the specific framework of a psychiatric day hospital, here is what the position entails:

Welcoming patients each half-day, checking their clinical condition upon arrival. Participating in the development of an individual care plan, in collaboration with the patient/team, regularly reassessed and adjusted according to the evolution of their health status. Conducting individual follow-up nursing interviews.

The nurse participates in the numerous care services offered: psycho-educational and creative workshops (emotions, self-esteem, assertiveness, motivation, well-being, sophrology, art therapy, therapeutic writing), validated therapeutic programs (MBSR, ACT), as well as physical, cognitive, and cultural activities (balneotherapy, fitness, dance, yoga, walking, memory exercises, gardening...).

Preparation and administration of psychotropic medications

Monitoring of side effects (metabolic syndrome, tardive dyskinesias, lithium levels, etc.)

Management of intercurrent somatic conditions

The nurse works within a team composed of psychiatrists (including a coordinator), psychologists, a neuropsychologist, a social worker, a dietitian, a head nurse, adapted physical activity instructors, and a secretary.

They participate in coordinated follow-up with external partners: general practitioner, community mental health centers (CMP), social services.
