Structures Engineer – Pylon A380 Demonstrator (Airbus France, Toulouse / Remote from Madrid) I participated in the design and development of the primary and secondary structure of the Pylon within the A380 demonstrator program, initially at Airbus facilities in Toulouse (France) during the first months of the project, and later remotely from Madrid. The work included defining structural concepts, 3D modeling, and feasibility analysis to ensure integrity and safety. One of the main technical challenges was the selection and application of suitable materials based on operating conditions: Titanium, used in critical areas subjected to high temperatures and loads, ensuring mechanical resistance and thermal stability. Aluminum alloys, applied in secondary areas where an optimal balance between weight and rigidity was required. Likewise, I collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams (aero-structures, materials, systems, and manufacturing) to optimize the design. Key competencies developed: Structural design in large-scale aeronautical programs. Management of advanced materials (titanium, aluminum, aeronautical alloys). International experience at Airbus France (Toulouse) and remote work from Madrid.
