Description

After a career in geophysics research, I decided to focus my career on scientific popularization. I am now responsible for the editorial monitoring of school and extracurricular books, academic, documentary, or biographical in all scientific fields.

I can intervene at different stages in the book creation process:

-critical review of the manuscript, proposing ways to develop the full potential of manuscripts;

-exchanges with authors and publishers to best adapt the manuscript to the constraints of the collection;

-copy preparation, bringing the text into compliance with syntactic, spelling, grammatical, and typographical standards;

-layout in InDesign following a provided template, integration of images and photos.

During my research activities, I had to write (and lay out) numerous scientific reports and articles myself. This experience allowed me to develop great scientific rigor and patience with the length of publication processes.

Furthermore, I undertook a mission to disseminate scientific knowledge for the Strasbourg Science Garden (JDS), during which I created several scientific mediation materials within a working group. These materials were used at the Strasbourg seismology museum, including educational booklets for teachers, work materials for their students, technical files on the works presented at the museum, and finally activity reports for the working group.
