Creation of my own guided tours dedicated to the history of perfume:Lisbon, the scent of spices

Indeed, talking about a city is telling its past, its legends, but also its scents. And in Lisbon, we know that its history has a great nose! Between its bacalhau, which predates garum (Hello Asterix in Lusitania), its woody aromas and its citrus fruits, there's something for everyone!

I also conduct historical guided tours of Lisbon in French for several companies: Lisbonne à Pied, Mon Lisbonne, Guydeeez, Boost.

During these experiences, I had the opportunity to work with students in fashion and luxury management schools, imparting the history of perfume and its links with culture, art, and the luxury industry. My role was both academic and practical, aiming to help students understand the historical, cultural, and economic dimensions of perfumes, while developing their artistic and creative sensibility.

At the École Internationale de Marketing du Luxe (EIML), I designed and led seminars focused on the history of perfume, its evolution through the ages, and its role in building the identity of luxury houses. I developed an educational program combining lectures, object analysis, case studies, and visits to exhibitions or museums, fostering interactive and concrete learning. The objective was to give students a complete vision of perfume, from its cultural origins to marketing strategies and innovation in the contemporary industry.

Previously, at the Moda Domani school (2018-2020), I taught courses on the history of perfume and luxury, emphasizing the cultural and symbolic dimension of fragrances. I guided students in analyzing historical and contemporary collections, interpreting advertising campaigns, and understanding the codes and trends of luxury.

These assignments strengthened my oral and written communication skills, my ability to structure educational content, and my adaptability to different learner profiles. They also allowed me to develop a professional network in the luxury and fashion sectors, collaborating with teachers, experts, and perfume houses to enrich the content and perspectives offered to students.
