Obviously, these new platforms pose challenges of school dropout but also require new skills for students to be able to properly master their learning.It is for this purpose that, during this Master 2 Data Science research internship, we are studying the concepts of self-regulated learning, as well as artificial intelligence applied to this sector. We aim to offer a vision of the sector's challenges, but also generalizable solutions that can be replicated on many platforms.At the intersection of Educational Data Mining and Learning Analytics, our process begins with the implementation of a data collection module (Trace and Prompt) on the France IOI platforms. Then, we propose data exploration related to self-regulation indicators, and we try to predict the self-regulation skills of each student using Dynamic Bayesian Networks.Finally, we would like to be able to propose relevant interventions based on the previous results. There are 4 main themes, this one was open education for the common good.This year it was organized by the British Embassy in Paris, which also hosted the hackathon.With my team, we obtained the first prize by providing a complete solution including a totally animated and designed web UI, a huge back-end architecture, and a background of Linked data (dbpedia) and deep learning (Bert, Roberta, XLNet, DistillBert).
