■ Responsible for Functional Safety Projects for a major petrochemical site of over 1000 hectares classified SEVESO 3.

■ Port, Steam Cracker, Polyethylene and Polypropylene Production Units: ● Objectives of standardization and normalization of the site's unit safety loops ● Review of SIF loops, standards, and SOP procedures.

■ Work with Inspectors, Technologists, and Production Plant Owners.

■ Environments: OT, SAP, EIPS and Honeywell and Yokogawa Safety PLCs (Safety Manager, Prosafe).

■ Certified TÜV SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems) and ATEX Level 2, for all functional safety actions on site. GIES2 certified for issuing Work Permits on Chemical Risk Sites.

■ Project Management & Process Control for Plant Ramp-Up and Optimization (Mining Production Industry). Performance and equipment reliability objectives.

■ Technical commissioning/recommissioning activities

● Overhaul of site production units.

● Coordination: Planning ● Client and subcontractor management ● Progress and prioritization meetings ● Technical organization

● Intervention on the DCS production system: ABB 800xA Industrial IT, SIEMENS PCS7, and HIMA ESD.

■ Work and interventions performed:

● Implementation of the new power calculation for the electric arc furnace electrodes (ore production furnace),

● Utilities Revamping for Nitrogen Production and Plant Water Treatment (RO-EDI),

● Recommissioning of the Step and Sewage (filtration, backwash, flushing, and treatment units),

● Upgrade of the Fire Fighting Water system (Diesel, Electric Pumps & Deluge Valves) (Plant fire safety),

● Progress meetings, Coordination, Planning, and Subcontractor monitoring for equipment upgrading to standards: Interventions on the Gas Plant and the Overland Conveyor (12 km conveyor between mine and plant)

● Safety work: Leading safety interactions for personnel working on site/plant construction sites.

● Documentation: Writing functional analyses, Manuals, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and operating procedures for the plant

● On-call duty: Responding to plant on-call issues. Support for operations, processes, maintenance, and technical management.
