Bruno Goncalves

Senior PHP Symfony developer with over 10 years of experience, specializing in the design and development of high-value custom business applications. I support companies throughout the entire lifecycle of their projects: technical scoping, development, optimization, security, and platform evolution.

My career began in IT consulting firms (ESN), where I worked on a wide variety of projects: from showcase websites to custom web applications, which allowed me to acquire solid technical versatility and a good understanding of client needs.

I then moved into the banking sector, a demanding environment with strong constraints in terms of data security, regulatory compliance (GDPR), traceability, and system robustness. The project was a white-label SaaS product.

In this context, I managed and led a team of 4 developers, establishing robust practices and processes (GitFlow, code review, pair programming, CI/CD, automated testing) to ensure the quality, maintainability, and performance of the platform. I participated in the development of the SaaS product by implementing a multi-tenant architecture, while supporting the team in their technical development and skill enhancement.

My last assignment involved a business Marketplace with high performance and robustness requirements for the Ministry of the Interior.

The platform, designed with a microservices architecture, evolved as needs and available information changed, requiring technical decisions and ensuring code maintainability and quality in a constantly evolving agile environment.

On the technical side, the project used Symfony, API Platform for API design, and MongoDB.
